1940's Silver Japanese Ashtray Dish

This gorgeous silver ashtray is stamped with an Occupied Japan mark, indicating that it was made between 1945-1951. This is about 5 inches long and 3 inches wide, with a relatively shallow dish. This design is unique because the center oval is the perfect size to hold a metal table lighter, such as pieces made by the popular Ronson and Omsco brands.
