Rare 1950's Mr. Guy Los Angeles Italian Leather and Brass Musical Carousel Pre-roll Dispenser

This carousel style preroll dispenser was custom made for the former 1950's men's boutique, Mr. Guy Los Angeles. Only a handful of these real leather pieces were ever produced, with each one being given a custom stamp on the bottom verifying that they were made in Italy exclusively for Mr. Guy. These carousels would be filled with cigarettes and displayed outside of the fitting rooms to give the wealthy men shopping there a truly luxury experience.

This carousel is made of a brown leather, which does have some scuffs and minor discoloring from age. The hardware is made of a gold tone brass and has gorgeous details sculpts of cherubs, devils, and a faun playing the flute in the center.

The piece still functions, however, it does not close all of the way on its own, as shown in video. The music still sounds as it did, and the wind up key and start buttons work smoothly.
