Laura Ingalls Wildhare - Mummified Rabbit Art Doll

Meet Laura Ingalls Wildhare! She is part vintage porcelain doll, and part mummified bunny. She has been dressed in a baby blue dress with a plaid apron and red leather boots. Laura's body is porcelain and she has jointed shoulder and hip joints. Her head has been professionally preserved and her entire cranial anatomy is intact and preserved. She still has her original eyeballs, teeth, and very soft fur. She does not have a smell, however, she should be kept in a dry place.

Laura was made using a naturally deceased pet. This bunny was given to me by a rescue, and unfortunately she passed away while in their care. Rather than discarding her remains she has been utilized in as many art projects as possible.

Laura is meant to be art, not a toy. She should be stored in a dry space and kept away from moisture like any other mummified specimen. Repeated bending and excessive handling may degrade Laura over time, so please treat her carefully and with love. With proper storage and display Laura will last for lifetimes to come!
