New Hall Hanley Vintage Charles Dickens Ashtray and Stash Box

This whimsical set, made by the Staffordshire England based company New Hall Hanley in the 1950's, includes one plate style ashtray and one stash both. Both pieces are ceramic with a printed image of character, Mr Pecksniff, from Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens.

Both pieces are in fantastic condition aside from one small chip in the corner of the stash box, as shown in photos.
